Elizabeth Olsen Learns About Loki 'God of Mischief'

Oscar Rendon | October 14th

ACE Comic Con has been home to some of the biggest celebrity appearances from both Marvel and DC in just over a year of touring North America. This past weekend, Chicago was host to their ACE Comic Con Midwest with appearances from Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Karen Gillan and Elizabeth Olsen. During a panel Q&A with Hiddleston ‘Loki’ and Elizabeth Olsen ‘Scarlet Witch’ the actor went into a deep conversation with how he looked at Loki as a character and the research he did when he first got the part. In one of the more funnier moments of the panel Elizabeth Olsen chimed in to say she never knew Loki was an actual figure from lore. In her own words “I thought it was comic book thing” and the crowd erupted in laughter.

While they couldn’t tease much from the highly anticipated Avengers 4 film, Tom Hiddleston neither confirmed or denied the permanence of Loki’s death in Avengers: Infinity War. Olsen however when prompted by fans she said “It’s only going to get worse” as fans gasped and laughed at what she could possibly mean by the ominous statement. Fans at the show were able to get photos and autographs from the stars all weekend long, ACE has become one of the largest cons in America with every date announced.
