We are living in the age of new and exciting pop-up comic cons all across the world. Here in the US we have so many and one of the most talked about is ACE Comic Con. ACE Comic Con established themselves with a rocket start last year with their very first event in Long Island, NY with one of the biggest line-ups since with the cast of DC’s Justice League. The best part of ACE Comic Con events besides their blockbuster line-ups of guests are the stage panels.

The latest event at Navy Pier in Chicago, IL was a huge success with thousands of people rushing to the stage to get a glimpse of their favorite stars as they talked about their projects and recent ventures in the comic book world. Some of the guests at ACE Comic Con Midwest were from the biggest film of the year, Avengers: Infinity War. Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, and Karen Gillan. Along with engaging panels the guests themselves looked like they were having fun as well. The weekend kicked off with WWE stars Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, and The Bella Twins. Friday saw a lot of Bella Twins cosplay as the duo took the stage and talked about their spin-off show Total Bellas, Total Divas, and the landmark event WWE Evolution (an all womens pay-per-view event).

On day two of the event, Captain America himself Chris Evans took the stage along with Karen Gillan (Guardians of the Galaxy) and Lee Pace (Captain Marvel). Evans tried dodging questions that had to do with Avengers 4, like plot and details fans were clamoring for. Walking the floor, fans were coming out of their photo-op sessions with joy after meeting their favorite stars. Tom Hiddleston had a fun role as well as he moderated his panel with Elizabeth Olsen as they had a conversation about their characters in Avengers and the connection they share, the one time they worked together on another project and as fans came up to ask questions. Having gone to a few comic cons in my short career, I have noticed that it is a place of fun and excitement. People gather to one place in the hopes of enjoying themselves, to meet others like them and to meet the stars that gave life to their favorite characters or just to say hi. ACE Comic Con gives you that chance and do it in a fun setting that everyone of all ages can enjoy. The next ACE Comic Con will be on January 11th-13th at Glendale, AZ with another great line-up. The guests include Tom Hiddleston, David Tennant, Krysten Ritter, Charlie Cox, WWE’s Roman Reigns, Alexa Bliss, and Charlotte Flair.
