Reluctant Spider-Man in Far From Home?

Spider-Man: Far From Home debuted it’s first official trailer this past week and it has fans talking. From Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio (and the fact that he decided to be a part of the MCU in it’s Spidey films) to what it means for Avengers: Endgame. The first question it raises is when this film takes place, before or after the events of Infinity War and Endgame. We can dissect all we want.. so lets. In Avengers: Infinity War Peter (Parker) is on a bus, heading who knows where. Could be to the airport for the summer trip to Europe that is the plot point of Far From Home. If the Avengers are able to reset time or stop Thanos from ever decimating the Universe (with a little help from time travel) then the events in Infinity War never happen but would all the characters who were decimated remember it at all? There is a theory, borrowing from DC, in this particular case CW’s The Flash. In the first season Reverse Flash kills Cisco after he discovers his plan, when Barry ‘travels’ back in time (more like rewinds and replaces an earlier version of himself) Cisco begins getting vibes from the other timeline where he died. Spider-Man has a similar power with his Spidey-Sense which is sort of a vibe. He could possibly be getting flashes to the original timeline in which nearly all of the heroes turned to dust. It could be this reason that Peter decides to leave his suit behind. Now, we could be reading into things as we the internet tend to do but it’s fun speculating. A simple and cheap answer is one of the surviving Avengers told him what happened, but that wouldn’t be as interesting now would it?
