Raw is Rousey!

Ronda Rousey (former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion) and current WWE Superstar is still making headlines after competing in her first singles match against WWE Raw Women's Champion, Nia Jax. The last time Rousey competed was at WWE's mega ticket show Wrestlemania in New Orleans, LA back in April. Since then, the MMA specialist has made appearances on Monday Night Raw in spot's leading up to her first championship match in the WWE. For week's Rousey and Jax have been building their match up with verbal and on occasion, physical sparring. Their segments on TV really had fans wondering if Rousey would defeat the champ or if she would suffer her first loss after only one match with the company.

This past Sunday at WWE's Money In The Bank pay-per view Rousey and Jax had one of the nights most back and forth match. Fans were on the edge of their seats as Ronda's offense consisted of targeting Nia Jax's arm for her signature Arm Bar. As Ronda had Jax's arm locked and ready to win the Raw Women's Championship a surprise attack from Alexa Bliss took place. Bliss had won the Women's Money In The Bank ladder match earlier in the show, and as she attacked both women with the briefcase she neutralized Rousey outside of the ring and cashed in her chance at the championship on a weak Jax. After hitting her top-rope finish the Twisted Bliss, Alexa became a 5-time Women's champion in the company.

The next night on Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss opened the show with RAW General Manager Kurt Angle as she was presented with her newly won championship. Before she could walk away from the ring, Rousey's music hit and Ronda walked down to the ring. Angle tried to hold Ronda back before she was able to get around him and attacked Alexa Bliss, using her own briefcase. Rousey proceeded to attack Kurt Angle and WWE officials in a fit of emotional rage after being screwed out her championship match the night before by Alexa Bliss, but before she could leave the ring, Rousey picked up the new champ and put her through a table. After the attack, Kurt Angle caught up with Ronda and announced that because of her actions she would be suspended for 30 days. The next time we are scheduled to see Ronda Rousey is at WWE's Super Show-Down in Melbourne, Australia on October 6th, 2018. Rousey seems to be adjusting well in her transition to professional wrestling.
