ABOUT| Jessica Diaz is a Mexican singer and actress, having acted since the age of 14 she found her passion for entertainment and pursued a career in acting and a music career simultaneously. Jessica has had some of her songs featured in telenovelas in Mexico, her first being “Quédate”. Late April 2020 her song “Como Tu No Hay Dos” was used as the intro and name for a telenovela starring Adrian Uribe, Estefania Orozco Hinojosa, Juan Pablo Gil and herself on Univision. Usually in latin telenovelas the song used for the intro is also the name of the show and is considered to be a big deal for artists, one of the most notable artists is that of Enrique Iglesias and Luis Fonsi. At only 29 years of age she seems to be carving a great career for herself and is considered one of the up and coming artists to watch.

Track Review

Right off the bat you are hit with the sweet sound of an acoustic guitar strumming note by note. Jessica’s beautiful voice slides in and begins the first verse with a soft tone. The song makes you believe it’s going to be a ballad but then the percussions drop in creating a faster rhythm and beat that makes you want to move your hips & legs and start dancing. This is only just the first verse and when when the beat drops for the chorus you can forget about, the song takes full control of you and you’re moving. Lyrically, the song is so damn catchy! From the first verse you’re already singing along, the song goes into loving someone. Loving someone people say isn’t right for you or that the relationship isn’t love at all. The upbeat tone of the song makes it feel like a triumphant “Love Conquers All” kind of song. I cannot recommend this song enough! I play it in my car, when I’m washing dishes, on my jogs, etc. “Como Tu No Hay Dos” is available to stream on all platforms.
