The fall season kicked off with a killer show from the band COIN at Delmar Hall in St. Louis, MO. Having listened to their music prior I was very interested in what a live show would be like. Dayglow opened up the night as the only opener for COIN and was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved their vibe and overall sound. As always, I always a unique perspective as I am also the photographer. Standing in the photo pit I could feel the crowds anticipation for the headlining act, like once upon a time when I was devoted to bands and trying to get right at the front of the barricade.

COIN has been one of those bands I have been keeping my eyes and ears on for a while and was finally able to catch them live on October 22nd, 2019. Here is what I will say right off the bat, ENERGY! COIN brings energy to every heart pounding song they perform and even on the slower songs they have a way of hooking you in with every word. Everything that goes into making a great night out at a concert is a) energetic band, b) good music, and c) a lively crowd which this show had and more. I almost started to dance with the crowd as the band kept playing throughout the night. Our recommendation, buy tickets to the Dreamland Tour that COIN announced for 2020 next year, and you won’t have to wait long as the tour start early in March.
