Twenty One Pilots came through St. Louis Saturday night (September 10th, 2022) with their ICY TOUR to a packed Enterprise Center in the heart of Downtown St. Louis. Fans across the city were excited for the duo from Columbus, Ohio to stop by and deliver another fun, exciting, and iconic show.

Over the years, it has been fun to see the evolution of TOP’s stage production get bigger while still keeping the their shows intimate which so hard to do in arena shows but the duo still manage it. Tyler (Singer) is always a ball of energy hopping, jumping and running not only from one end of the stage to the other but the entire arena! Josh (Drummer) still keeps it classic with the drum set crowd surfing the crowd which has always been my favorite element of any Twenty One Pilots show. Starting off their performance with the live rendition of “Good Day” is always a good way to start a show as the crowd yelled and sung in synchronicity to Tyler as glided on the stage.

The stage presence alone from Tyler & Josh and the energy the crowd was receiving matched the energy and breathe that the songs gave the audience with every note. Seamless transitions and fun banter made the show feel like a real production rather than stop and go. The production team deserve praise for building the world we the audience get to inhabit for one night. Songs like “Guns For Hands” and “Holding On To You” still resonate and I dare say get louder when played in a live setting. “Chlorine” and “Mulberry Street” transport people to a serene place with the melody and of course “Ride”, “Car Radio” and “Heathens” had the STL crowd jumping, and dancing with fists in the air as the night came to a close.

Twenty One Pilots (Tyler Joseph & Josh Dun) have always put on great shows, whether they be basement stages, club venues, amphitheater’s or even arenas that still have fans of the duo feeling connected to the band. Creating an intimacy with an arena crowd and giving so much energy each show is what this band does best. If there was ever any doubt about going to a Twenty One Pilots show I hope we give you a couple reasons to go! A special shoutout to the production team and gaffers who set up the multiple stages and technical things that are achieved to make the live show experience possible and amazing.
